OUR IDENTITY
The emblem of the CHINCHILEJO Foundation is a visual synthesis of our philosophy, mission, and connection with ancestral wisdom. Each symbol and color in our logo has been carefully chosen to represent the values and aspirations that guide our work for sustainability, equity, and human transformation.
Square/Frame
The outer square frames all other symbols, expressing stability, solid foundations, and the order essential for sustainable progress. Its geometric lines evoke sacred geometry and the interrelation of the four elements, four directions, and four seasons—reminding us of the rootedness of humanity and our responsibility with the earth and all creation.
Irregular Horizontal Line
Beneath the symbols, an organic line avoids strict geometry, representing the fertile and regenerative power of the earth. It stands for adaptability, growth, and the natural cycles that sustain life.

Chakana Kemet / Cross
At the heart, the Andean “Chakana” cross—depicted in Kemet red, a color of vitality and protection—expresses life, healing, and the unity of diverse traditions. The choice of non-Western iconography honors both native Andean and ancient Egyptian legacies, symbolizing our inclusive and intercultural identity.

Circle / Cycle
Encircling the cross, a blue ring and a pattern of dots evoke the cycles of life, water as the source of existence, and the serenity, security, and peace we strive to foster. Its irregular shape embraces organic forms and the constant renewal that nature teaches us.

Chinchilejo
In Quechua, “Chinchilejo” means dragonfly—the transformed human. Highlighted in Egyptian yellow, the dragonfly embodies strength, balance, wisdom, intelligence, and enthusiasm. For us, it is the living symbol of personal and collective transformation.
